R.A. Gapuz Review Center Dagupan: What We Could and Could Not Verify

TL;DR: The Dagupan Gapuz branch runs face-to-face review for the Nurse Licensure Examination from Gapuz Centrum I in Bolosan district, Dagupan City, contactable on 0961 339 1089. Two things need saying plainly. There are two similarly named Gapuz operations in Philippine nursing review, and the one with a live website, Ray A. Gapuz Review System, does not list Dagupan among its branches. And the domain historically tied to R.A. Gapuz Review Center, gapuzreviewcenter.com, now redirects to a parked page, which we confirmed on 2 September 2026. No fee is published. Verify the branch by phone or in person before you pay anything.

The two-Gapuz problem

If you have been searching "Gapuz review center Dagupan" and getting conflicting answers, this is why.

There are two separately branded operations using the Gapuz name in Philippine nursing review:

R.A. Gapuz Review CenterRay A. Gapuz Review System
Operating entityNot publishedInternational Center for Advance Review and Training (ICART) Inc.
Live websiteNone. gapuzreviewcenter.com redirects to a parked landerraygapuzreviewsystem.com
Locations published on its own siteNone availableManila, Baguio, Batangas, Legazpi
Dagupan listed? This branch carries the nameNo

We checked both on 2 September 2026. The Ray A. Gapuz Review System site is live and its own footer names four locations: Manila, Baguio, Batangas and Legazpi. Dagupan is not among them. The R.A. Gapuz Review Center domain loads a redirect to a /lander placeholder, which is what a parked or expired domain does.

So the honest statement is this: the Dagupan branch on file carries the R.A. Gapuz name, and its affiliation with the chain that currently has a working website could not be confirmed from either party's own materials. That is not an accusation. It is a gap, and you should close it with a phone call rather than an assumption.

We cover the wider brand history in our Gapuz review centre guide.

What is actually on record

Stripping out everything unverified, here is what we hold for this branch:

  • Address: Gapuz Centrum I, Bolosan District, Dagupan City, Pangasinan
  • Phone: 0961 339 1089
  • Exam covered: NLE only
  • Format: Face to face; no online or hybrid option on file
  • Email, website, Facebook page: none verified
  • Google rating: 3.5 from two reviews

Two reviews is not a sample. It tells you almost nothing about teaching quality, and you should not weight it in either direction.

The other centres in the city, across every exam, are on the Dagupan review centres page.

What "face-to-face only, no website" means for you

Plenty of legitimate Philippine review centres run without a website. Several of the best-known CPA review schools in Manila operate almost entirely through Facebook. The absence of a corporate site is not evidence of a problem.

What it does mean is that every check you would normally do online, you have to do yourself:

  1. Go to the address. Gapuz Centrum I is a fixed location. Twenty minutes there tells you whether a batch is running, what the room looks like, and who the lecturers are.
  2. Ask for the batch calendar in writing. Start date, end date, session days, session hours, final coaching dates.
  3. Ask for an official receipt. Not a screenshot of a transfer confirmation, an actual receipt with the business name on it.
  4. Ask which organisation you are enrolling with. If the answer is Ray A. Gapuz Review System, ask why Dagupan does not appear on their published location list. A straight answer to that is a good sign.
  5. Ask what happens if the batch does not fill. Small-city branches sometimes cannot open a batch. Find out whether you get a refund or a transfer.

Fees: not published

No fee figure exists for this branch, in our records or anywhere the centre publishes.

We are not going to invent one. Nursing review pricing varies widely by format, by length and by whether final coaching is bundled or sold separately, and a made-up figure would only mislead you at the exact moment you are budgeting. Ask for the total in writing, and ask specifically whether handouts, mock exams and final coaching are inside or outside the quoted price. Our review centre cost guide explains why the spread across the market is so large.

The realistic alternative in Dagupan

Our directory lists six review centres in Dagupan City across all exams. For the NLE specifically there is one other: Saint Louis Review Center's Dagupan branch, which covers both the NLE and the LET.

That branch is easier to verify. St. Louis Review Center's national site is live, publishes a branch list that includes Dagupan, and links each branch to its own Facebook page. The chain publishes a self-paced NLE package price on its national site, which is more than most competitors do. We cover the network in the St. Louis Review Center guide.

That is not a recommendation to switch. It is a note that if verifiability matters to you, one of the two Dagupan NLE options is currently much easier to check than the other.

Dagupan also has Carl E. Balita Review Center and REO for other exams, so if you are still deciding on a career track rather than a review centre, the city has more depth than the NLE list alone suggests.

What Dagupan has overall

Dagupan is better served than most cities its size. Our records hold six review centres in the city, and they cover four different exam families:

For a nursing graduate that narrows to two: this branch and SLRC. For anyone weighing a career change, the wider list matters, because a city with a CPA and an IELTS centre is a city where several routes out are locally serviced. The full set is on the Dagupan review centres page.

Reviewing for the NLE outside Manila

The wider question behind this post is whether provincial NLE review is a compromise. It does not have to be.

The NLE is a national exam with a national coverage. The Table of Specifications is set by the Board of Nursing, not by your review centre, and the subject areas are the same in Bolosan as they are in Sampaloc. What differs between provincial and metro review is usually lecturer depth, cohort size and the number of mock exams you sit.

That last one matters more than most reviewees expect. Ask any centre you are considering, in Dagupan or elsewhere, how many full-length simulated exams are included and whether you get item-level rationales afterward. A programme with four proper mock exams and rationales beats one with more lecture hours and none. Our guides to passing the NLE on the first try and the NLE itself go into what the exam actually tests.

If you would rather compare a full provincial field before deciding, our Iloilo NLE roundup shows how four centres in one Visayas city stack up, and the same questions apply in Pangasinan.

What we could not establish

Being direct about the gaps, because they are the point of this post:

  • Whether this branch is currently open. Unconfirmed.
  • Its corporate relationship, if any, to Ray A. Gapuz Review System. Unconfirmed.
  • Its fee, batch schedule, review length, and whether final coaching is included. Not published.
  • Its lecturer roster. Not published.
  • Any pass rate. PRC does not publish results by review centre, so no centre anywhere in the country has a verifiable one.

Call 0961 339 1089 and ask. If the answers come easily and in writing, that itself is useful information. A branch that can tell you its batch dates, its fee and its inclusions in one phone call is running an organised operation; one that cannot may still be fine, but you are the one carrying the risk, so make the visit before you make the payment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is R.A. Gapuz Review Center's Dagupan branch?

At Gapuz Centrum I in the Bolosan district of Dagupan City, Pangasinan. The contact number on file is 0961 339 1089. There is no published email address or branch website.

What exam does the Dagupan branch review for?

The Nurse Licensure Examination only. Our record lists NLE as the single exam type for this branch, delivered face to face. If you need LET or criminology review in Dagupan, other centres in the city cover those.

Is R.A. Gapuz the same as Ray A. Gapuz Review System?

They are two separately branded operations with similar names, and this is the single most common point of confusion for nursing reviewees. Ray A. Gapuz Review System runs under International Center for Advance Review and Training (ICART) Inc. and lists its locations as Manila, Baguio, Batangas and Legazpi. Dagupan is not on that list. Confirm which organisation you are paying before you hand over money.

Does R.A. Gapuz Review Center have a website?

Not a working one. The domain historically associated with the chain, gapuzreviewcenter.com, now redirects to a parked placeholder page, which we confirmed on 2 September 2026. No branch website or Facebook page for the Dagupan location could be verified.

How much does NLE review cost at the Dagupan branch?

No fee is published. With no website and no published rate card, the only way to get a figure is to call 0961 339 1089 and ask, ideally for a written quote covering the total, the inclusions and the payment schedule.

Is the Dagupan branch still operating?

We could not confirm current operating status from a primary source. The listing and phone number are on file, but with no website, no email and no verified social page, the only reliable check is to phone the branch or visit Gapuz Centrum I before you commit.

What are the alternatives for NLE review in Dagupan?

Our directory also lists Saint Louis Review Center's Dagupan branch, which covers both the NLE and the LET, and belongs to a chain whose national website is live and lists Dagupan among its branches. That makes it easier to verify before enrolling.

Should I still consider a centre I cannot verify online?

A missing website is not proof of anything by itself, and several long-running Philippine review centres operate entirely through Facebook and phone. What it does mean is that the burden of checking falls on you: visit the address, ask for a receipt, and get the terms in writing.
