Laguna College

Laguna College is a private, non-sectarian school in San Pablo City, Laguna, founded in 1923 as Laguna Academy by Don Zacarias Sahagun and Don Melecio Fule. It opened with 16 students and grew to 1,500 by 1941, before closing during the Japanese occupation and reopening in 1945 under its present name. The school offers a full range of levels: kindergarten, grade school, junior and senior high school, college, and graduate studies. College programs include accounting, engineering, nursing, education, business administration, and information technology, while its graduate school offers a Master in Business Management, Master in Public Administration, and Master of Arts in Education with several specializations. Laguna College holds Level II accreditation from the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA) for its liberal arts, education, and commerce programs, first granted in 1996 and reaccredited in 2005. The school is located at Paseo de Escudero in San Pablo City and has been led by Dr. Lavinia S. Evangelista-Bruan as president since 2011.
