What Documents Do You Need for Early Registration?
The core requirement is a PSA (Philippine Statistics Authority) birth certificate, original or certified true copy. Under a streamlining policy DepEd adopted in 2025, families now submit this only once for a learner's entire K-12 journey rather than re-submitting it at every grade transition.
If a PSA birth certificate isn't available yet, DepEd accepts secondary documents in the meantime, including:
- National ID or another primary government-issued ID
- PhilHealth ID
- PWD ID
- Certificate of Live Birth
- Marriage certificate
