Velez College
Velez College is a private health sciences college on F. Ramos Street in Cebu City. It began as the Cebu (Velez) General Hospital School of Nursing in 1952-1953, founded by Epifania Mendoza Velez with support from Dr. Jacinto Velez Sr., and graduated its first class of 26 nurses in 1955. The school was incorporated in 1966 and adopted a five-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing curriculum in 1967-1968. Velez College now has four component colleges: the College of Nursing, College of Medical Technology, College of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy, and College of Arts and Sciences, and its graduates can pursue a Doctor of Medicine through the affiliated Cebu Institute of Medicine. Its Bachelor of Science in Nursing program has carried Level III accreditation from the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU), while its Medical Technology, Physical Therapy, and Arts and Sciences programs hold PAASCU Level I status. The college is best known in Cebu for producing nursing and allied-health graduates and has a long-running affiliation with Velez General Hospital for clinical training.

Graduated Bachelor of Science in medical technology. 10/10 wouldn't do it again.
My daughter goes to school there and it is a very good school for medical related studies.
Several student from this college don't even have the basic courtesy of asking when occupying the seat right in-front of me on 16Apr 2024, 12-12.30pm at Robinson Fuente, as if they own the entire food court area. Wonder if these are the college special breed.
