University of the Philippines Diliman (UP Diliman) is the flagship campus of the University of the Philippines System, the Philippines' national university under Republic Act 9500. UP itself was established in 1908, and its main campus moved to the 493-hectare Diliman site in Quezon City in 1949. The campus is organized into 26 degree-granting units across four academic clusters (Arts and Letters; Management and Economics; Science and Technology; Social Sciences and Law), including the College of Engineering, College of Law, College of Business Administration, College of Science, College of Fine Arts, and College of Music, offering 268 undergraduate, graduate, and certificate programs. As a state university, qualified Filipino undergraduates pay no tuition under the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act (RA 10931); students who fall outside the law's coverage are billed at a base rate of PHP1,500 per unit, with need-based discounts up to 100%. Admission for new students is through the University of the Philippines College Admission Test (UPCAT). UP Diliman also runs the UP Integrated School, a laboratory school under its College of Education offering Kindergarten through Grade 12. As of 2023 the campus had about 26,349 students, roughly 17,117 of them undergraduates. Campus landmarks include the Oblation statue, the Sunken Garden, the Main Library at Gonzalez Hall, and student dormitories such as Kalayaan Residence Hall.

A very relaxing place perfect for jogging. One of the best places to jog around Quezon City area aside from Quezon City Circle. They do have affordable restaurants inside too.

One of the best colleges in the Philippines and the area keeps getting a make over. It already looks like a mini city. Complete with health service, mini malls with food stalls and print service, and another food park in a different area, post office, football field and other necessities for student to go and buy what they need. I love seeing people keeping up with their health by jogging or cycling and having picnic at the sunken garden and other areas within U.P. ikot. If you ever wanna take a breather, destress and relax, enjoy nature within the city, U.P. diliman is the place to be.
