University of the Immaculate Conception - Bajada Campus

University of the Immaculate Conception (UIC) is a Catholic university founded in 1905 in Davao City by the Congregation of the Religious of the Virgin Mary (RVM). Its Bajada campus, on Margarita Village Road in Buhangin, houses the university's Grade School and High School departments (Junior High and Senior High), separate from the Fr. Selga main campus and Bonifacio annex where UIC's college programs are based. UIC as a whole is a PAASCU-accredited institution with more than 10,000 students university-wide and offers ten colleges spanning accounting and business, arts and humanities, computer studies, engineering and architecture, human environmental sciences, medical and biological sciences, music, nursing, pharmacy and chemistry, and teacher education. UIC is also a member of the ASEAN University Network (AUN) and the Association of Southeast and East Asia Catholic Colleges and Universities (ASEACCU).
