University of Baguio (UB) is a private university on General Luna Road in Baguio City, founded on August 8, 1948 by Fernando Gonzaga Bautista and Rosa Castillo Bautista as the Baguio Technical and Commercial Institute, popularly known as Baguio Tech. It runs Elementary, Junior High and Senior High School departments, including a Science High School track, alongside a full university with colleges of Business Administration and Accountancy, Criminal Justice and Public Safety, Dentistry, Engineering and Architecture, Information Technology, International Hospitality and Tourism Management, Law, Natural Sciences, Nursing, and Teacher Education and Liberal Arts, plus a Graduate School. UB holds PACUCOA accreditation across roughly 30 programs, with several, including Business Administration, Elementary Education, Secondary Education and Liberal Arts, at Level III re-accredited status. The university offers entrance scholarships, service grants and student-assistant positions to help offset costs. UB is known regionally for hospitality and tourism management as well as its health science programs such as nursing and physical therapy.

It is a very good school with good facilities. Wide choice of courses to choose from including the medical field. While the college is more known for such courses as Hotel and Restaurant Management, they are now producing very capable graduates in physical therapy and nursing.
Very efficient and corteous staff.Very systematic release of documents for new graduates.Did not take us long to accomplish our needs.Thank you for putting these systems in place.

I attended this school from 2017 until the pandemic. While the social aspect was enjoyable, the infrastructure was a major issue. We were consistently charged for elevator fees, yet the service was non-existent; I can count on my fingers how many times they actually worked. As someone with a heart condition, being forced to walk up to the 10th or 11th floor for classes was not just difficult, it was dangerous. It is unacceptable to charge students for maintenance on equipment that remains broken for entire semesters. Because the school failed to provide a safe and accessible environment, I was forced to transfer and leave my friends behind. Truly a disappointing experience.
