The Seed Montessori School
The Seed Montessori School was established on October 15, 1988 by Teresa Palma-Bonifacio, Noel P. Morales and Mavis Bonifacio-Morales, three generations of Montessori teachers trained at Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) centers in Italy and the United States. Located on Samonte Street in the Capitol District of Quezon City, the school follows the Montessori educational approach across three program levels: Children's House (Preschool) for ages 3 to 6, Elementary for ages 6 to 12, and a High School program for adolescent students. The school emphasizes hands-on, self-directed learning in mixed-age classrooms rather than traditional lecture-based instruction, in keeping with Maria Montessori's philosophy that children learn best through direct experience with their environment. The school's founders trace their educational lineage to Dr. Rafael Palma, a former University of the Philippines president, which the school cites as part of its heritage.
