St. Scholastica's College (SSC) Manila is a private Catholic school in Malate, Manila, founded on December 3, 1906 by five German Missionary Benedictine Sisters of Tutzing, led by Mother M. Ferdinanda Hoelzer, at the request of the Archbishop of Manila. It opened with elementary classes, added high school in 1907, and opened its collegiate department in 1920; the same year it pioneered formal music education in the Philippines with a Conservatory of Music. Long an all-girls school, SSC began accepting male students starting school year 2024-2025. It offers Pre-Kinder and Kindergarten (co-ed), Grades 1-6 and Junior High School (Grades 7-10, girls only), and Senior High School (Grades 11-12, now open to boys in the Arts and Design track), with strands in STEM, Accountancy and Business Management, General Academic, Arts and Design (Music and Visual Arts), Sports, Technical-Vocational ICT, and Home Economics. College programs include Accountancy, Arts and Sciences, Business, Hotel/Leisure/Restaurant Management, and Music. SSC is a charter member of the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU) and holds Level III accreditation across its departments. Five of its campus buildings were declared Important Cultural Properties by the National Museum of the Philippines in 2024.

literally ignore any bad reviews from petty old students. take it from someone who left when i say st scho really does its best to give your child their time to shine — theyre bound to excel somewhere and find their people. this school raises socially responsible people. would not, however, recommend to neurodivergent children.

Went to St. Scho Manila for a recital at St. Cecilia’s Theatre Hall. The theater is quite old yet it’s working quite well.
This school has a good facilities, but i little sad cause were not able to go inside and see many places in this area
Hi, I'm a grade 7 student from another school. I went to this school to watch a theater play (Ibong Adarna) and like, their performance was freaking great. Their Don Juan? BROTHER, he was CHARISMATIC. The guy had me screaming in my seat, lolz. Overall, the place is beautiful and clean, the staffs are nice too. As someone who wants to be a theater kid, or channel my creativity and passion in any way that I'll desire, I might attend in this school in the future if I grow up. :)
