St. Peter's College of Ormoc, Inc.
St. Peter's College of Ormoc, Inc. (SPC) is a Catholic school in Ormoc City, Leyte, founded in 1914 by Rev. Fr. Ismael Cataag as Colegio de Nuestra Sra. de Guadalupe, making it Leyte's oldest Catholic school. For 94 years it was run by the Missionary Benedictine Sisters before management transitioned to the Archdiocese of Palo in June 2024. SPC offers a full basic education track from preschool through senior high school, plus a Higher Education Department with degree programs in Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Bachelor of Elementary Education and Bachelor of Secondary Education, along with a Teacher Certificate Program. The college describes its programs as PAASCU-accredited and its degrees as CHED-recognized. The school is now over a century old and has produced graduates who have gone on to pass licensure exams in accountancy and other fields. It is located on Fr. Ismael Cataag Street in Barangay South, Ormoc City.
