St. Paul University Dumaguete
St. Paul University Dumaguete traces its founding to October 29, 1904, when seven Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres arrived from Vietnam at the invitation of the Diocese of Iloilo and opened Instituto de San Pablo, the first Catholic school in Negros Oriental, as a boarding school for 26 girls near the Dumaguete Cathedral. St. Paul High School opened in 1920, and the institution attained university status in 2004, its centennial year. Located on L. Rovira Road in Bantayan, Dumaguete City, it is a Catholic, Paulinian school offering Basic Education from Kindergarten through Senior High School, college programs through its College of Business and Information Technology, College of Arts, Sciences and Education, and College of Nursing, plus graduate studies through its Continuing Education Institute. The university runs its own online systems for enrollment, grading and tuition (SIS) and e-learning (LMS), and handles admissions inquiries through department-specific forms on its website.

★★★★★(5 reviews)In my opinion the worst high school you could send your child to in all of Dumaguete. Sub-par education; very bare minimum type of teaching, not one teacher is outstanding, most of them just seem to enjoy seeing the cliques foster and the pay check, nothing more. If you want to develop and nurture your child’s mind - this is not the place. 🚩If your child is not popular or from an affluent background, they most definitely will come out of this school less intelligent and traumatized. Most of the teachers have no moral compass. I could name many names but will not for the sake of my own peace. They foster an environment that encourages mean girls and bullies. Teachers would just smirk when they witness a student (from a class they should be managing) crying from actively being bullied without any regard that these are minors and their negligence could impact their psychosocial development. I would not send my worst enemy’s child here! Absolutely horrible!
beautiful school, this is where i MIGHT meet my wife!
Best Catholic School in Dumaguete
Enroll here if you want to suffer! Get ready to have passive aggressive teachers who have it out for making it difficult for you as much as possible as well as taking credit for your achievements even though they didn't contribute whatsoever. Also had former classmates/batchamtes there who have been insulted and belittled by the teachers. It's a bunch of people enabling their delusional superiority complex in their small little bubble while shining institutions like Foundation, Silliman, NORSU, and Foundation tower over them. Honestly, aside from a select few teachers, my time here was utter hell! If I could rate this 0 stars, I would.
