Saint Louis University Laboratory Junior High School
Saint Louis University Laboratory Junior High School is the junior-high training school run by the Basic Education School (BEdS) of Saint Louis University (SLU) in Baguio City, serving Grades 7 to 10. SLU traces its founding to December 1, 1911, when the Belgian CICM missionary Fr. Seraphin Devesse established St. Louis School; it became St. Louis College in 1952 and was chartered as a university in 1963. SLU remains a Catholic institution run by the CICM (Congregation of the Immaculate Heart of Mary) missionary priests. As a laboratory school, the Junior High School serves as a demonstration and practice-teaching site for SLU's teacher-education programs, giving education students supervised classroom experience alongside regularly enrolled junior-high students.
