Philippine Science High School Central Luzon Campus

Philippine Science High School Central Luzon Campus (PSHS-CLC) is a public specialized science high school in Clark Freeport Zone, Angeles City, Pampanga. It opened on June 28, 2009 as the 11th campus of the Philippine Science High School System, a specialized public school system attached to the Department of Science and Technology (DOST). PSHS-CLC serves Grades 7 to 12 under a curriculum emphasizing advanced mathematics and science, preparing scholars for careers in STEM fields. Admission is through the annual National Competitive Examination (NCE), open only to Filipino citizens, plus a Lateral Admission Qualifying Examination for later entry. Most scholars come from Central Luzon provinces such as Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac and Zambales, with some admitted from neighboring regions. Under Republic Act 8496, all PSHS scholars receive free tuition, free textbooks, a monthly stipend, and subsidized dormitory housing, and the campus has dormitory facilities for students from outside Angeles City. PSHS-CLC has also partnered with the Bases Conversion and Development Authority on plans for an expanded campus with a fabrication laboratory in Clark Green City.
