Palawan State University (PSU) traces its origin to Palawan Teacher's College, established on March 2, 1965 under Republic Act 4303. It became Palawan State College in 1984 and was granted university status on November 12, 1994 under Republic Act 7818. As a state university, undergraduate tuition is free for qualified Filipino students under RA 10931, with only minimal miscellaneous fees charged. PSU's Main Campus sits on 68 hectares in Tiniguiban Heights, Puerto Princesa City, with extramural sites across 16 municipalities in Palawan province, making it the province's principal public higher-education institution. The university is known for its Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering, the first such program in the Philippines when it launched in 1995, reflecting Palawan's oil and gas industry. It also offers a Master of Science in Technopreneurship, which PSU states is the only such graduate program among the country's state universities and colleges. PSU offers Senior High School alongside a broad range of undergraduate and graduate programs across education, engineering, business, fisheries, and marine sciences suited to Palawan's economy and coastal geography.

I graduated year 2010. After 10 years, I only visited today. Big improvement. Good changes. I am amazed that they planted dates palm in the campus. I wish to get back when the dates palm already bear fruits.
Ang mga IT teachers hindi nag tuturo ng maayos, I remember my IT teacher only showed up once in a whole semester and gave us A low grade. Most of the IT teachers didn't know what they are doing. They are not teaching. There is no True education in PSU if you get BSIT.
Traffic is getting heavy, there's no barriers separating pedestrians and vehicles. It clearly need additional roadway or a dedicated road preferably along the perimeter is needed for vehicles.
The Venue for International Research Conference. The venue really good, they have air con and big fan so in Palawan hot weather we can survive. The staff here were soo nice and helpful. Really enjoy the place here.
I kept emailing this school asking when is the enrollment for transferees this coming school year 2024-2025 but no one bothers to response. One of their email address seems like a dummy! I did check the website for any update but there is none! My son went personally to asked one of the registrar but that registrar doesn't know. Can you believe that??! Now, does anyone knows when is the enrollment for year 2024-2025 for transferees???? I'm tired of sending emails!
