O.B. Montessori Center, Greenhills, San Juan City

O.B. Montessori Center (OBMC) is a private Montessori school system founded in 1966 by Dr. Preciosa S. Soliven, who opened the first OB Montessori children's house at the Syquia Apartments in Malate, Manila, after training in the Montessori method in Perugia, Italy. The Greenhills campus in San Juan City is one of five OBMC campuses in Metro Manila and Pampanga, alongside Angeles City, Fairview, Las Pinas and Sta. Ana. OBMC follows a progressive pre-K to 12 co-educational structure organized into Casa (ages 3-5), Primary (ages 6-8), Intermediate (ages 9-12), Junior High School (ages 13-16) and Senior High School (ages 17-18), applying Montessori pedagogy through the elementary years before transitioning into a DepEd-aligned curriculum for high school. Over nearly six decades, OB Montessori Center has grown into one of the largest Montessori-based education systems in the world, with more than 250,000 students having passed through its schools since its founding. The Greenhills campus is located along Eisenhower Street and offers admission across all levels from Casa through Senior High School.
