Notre Dame of Marbel University

Notre Dame of Marbel University (NDMU) is a private Catholic university in Koronadal City, South Cotabato, run by the Marist Brothers of the Schools. It began in 1946 as a secondary school founded by the Oblates of Mary Immaculate with the Religious of the Virgin Mary sisters, the first high school in South Cotabato and the Koronadal Valley. The Marist Brothers took over the Boys Department in 1950 and opened a College Department in 1955; the institution was granted university status on January 2, 1992. NDMU now offers elementary, junior high, senior high, college and graduate programs through its College of Arts and Sciences, College of Business Administration, College of Education, College of Engineering, Architecture and Computing, College of Law, College of Health Sciences, and Graduate School. Several of its programs hold PAASCU Level II and Level III re-accreditation, and CHED has granted the university autonomous status, most recently renewed through September 2027.
