Montessori De Manila

Montessori De Manila (MDM) is a private Montessori school on Pablo Roman Street in BF Homes Executive Village, Las Piñas City, first registered as a preschool with the Bureau of Domestic Trade in 1986 to give BF Homes residents a Montessori-based alternative to conventional schooling. Its first year enrolled 110 children under four class directresses. The school follows the Montessori method, using specially designed materials that let children explore through their senses at their own pace, and offers levels from Junior Casa (nursery/toddler) and Senior Casa (kindergarten) through Elementary, Junior High and Senior High School. Based on 2009 National Achievement Test results, MDM ranked among the top ten private schools in Las Piñas City, with elementary pupils posting scores in Science, Math and English/Filipino higher than the Metro Manila division's top-school average. The school also operates a Davao campus at Central Park Subdivision, Bangkal, Davao City. Extracurricular offerings include music, visual arts, athletics, academic enrichment, sports day, field trips, and camps.
