Jose Rizal Memorial State University (JRMSU) is a public university in Zamboanga del Norte, established as Jose Rizal Memorial State College in 1996 under Republic Act 8193 by consolidating several vocational and agricultural schools in the province. It was elevated to full university status in 2010 under Republic Act 9852. JRMSU operates a multi-campus system with its main campus in Dapitan City and additional campuses in Dipolog, Katipunan, Tampilisan and Siocon, plus an external studies unit in Sibuco. Its Dipolog campus, on General Luna Street, is one of these constituent campuses. As a state university, tuition for qualified undergraduates is free under RA 10931. JRMSU offers programs in agriculture, arts and sciences, engineering and technical fields, is a member of the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC), and competes in SCUAA and MASCUF athletic competitions. Its school colors are navy blue and gold, and its student publication is The State Collegian.

the admin of this school is not implementing the rules to let the parents know the grades of the student after each term...as a school u have to send ur report grades to the parents or guardian every term so that they will know...especially if the parents or guardian is ofw...

Being schooling at the public, it is the right choice. We're disciplined by school even guards are strict too, One of the example, the student must in proper uniform. they don't let our school to be in shame so it strictly proscribed by school .. And the Instructor I met I learn about ethical and moral values... Sir Gfdch sharing and teach us to make us good student and disciplined. and more I am first yr. Student of JRMSU Dipolog City..
