International Baptist College (IBC Mandaluyong College)

International Baptist College and Seminary (IBCS), also known as International Baptist College, is a private Christian school in Barangay Malamig, Mandaluyong City, near the boundary with Pasig, San Juan and Makati. It exists as a ministry of the International Baptist Missionary Fellowship-Philippines (IBMF-Phils), with International Bible Church serving as the group's main campus, and was founded by Dr. Gavino S. Tica, who serves as its Chancellor. IBCS is accredited by the Department of Education (DepEd) and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), and is a member of the Association of Private School Administrators in Mandaluyong (APSAM). The school describes itself as non-denominational but distinctively Christian, and operates its own Elementary and High School programs in addition to college. College offerings include a Bachelor of Arts in Theology, Bachelor of Arts in Religious Education, Bachelor of Elementary Education, and Bachelor of Secondary Education with majors in English and History, along with a Teacher Certificate Program for non-education graduates. IBCS offers several scholarships, including the GST Scholarship (named for its Chancellor) providing a 50% tuition discount to children of missionaries, pastors and full-time church workers, and the Hamadera Work Scholarship, funded by a partner church in Osaka, Japan, covering full tuition for seminary students committed to church ministry.
