German European School Manila
German European School Manila (GESM) is a non-profit, co-educational international day school on the Eurocampus in Better Living Subdivision, Paranaque City. It began classes on August 5, 1980 as the Jose Rizal School and was later renamed German European School Manila. GESM serves students from Preschool through Upper School (ages 3 to 18) with German instruction offered at every grade level, requiring no prior knowledge of German at enrollment. Students can follow a German, IB, or Cambridge pathway: Kindergarten through Grade 10 study in a German Section or an English-medium International Section, while Grades 11-12 offer the IB Diploma Programme or IB Career-related Programme. GESM is an IB World School and enrolls students of roughly 60 nationalities. Students may also pursue the German Language Diploma (DSD I and II), which grants access to German universities. The school shares its Eurocampus with the French international school and provides library, canteen, and school bus services alongside after-school clubs and sports programs.
