Dumaguete Chung Hua School
This listing corresponds to what is now officially Holy Cross High School, founded July 15, 1928 as Dumaguete Chung Hua High School at the corner of Sta. Catalina and Noblefranca Streets in Dumaguete City. It was renamed Dumaguete Chinese High School in the late 1940s-50s, then renamed again to Holy Cross High School in 1967 when admission opened to all Filipino students, not only those of Chinese descent. The school is a bilingual Christian institution blending Filipino and Chinese-Filipino values, and today offers Preschool, Elementary, Junior High, and Senior High. It has been managed by the Lorenzo Mission Society since 2014.
