Don Bosco Center of Studies

Don Bosco Center of Studies, at Michael Rua Street in Better Living Subdivision, Parañaque, is the Don Bosco School of Theology (DBST), a Catholic ecclesiastical institution for the formation of Salesian priests, religious and lay ministers rather than a K-12 basic education school. The Salesians of Don Bosco established the site in 1972 to house theology students and opened it formally as a school of theology in 1983. DBST operates four institutes: the Don Bosco Ecclesiastical Institute of Theology, offering the Bachelor of Sacred Theology (SThB) and Master of Arts in Theology (MATh); the Institute of Pastoral Formation, for catechists and youth ministers; the Institute of Religious Formation, for consecrated persons and laity; and the Institute of Salesian Studies, offering a Master in Pastoral Ministry (MPM). It has also launched online Certificate Courses in Theological Discipline across ten specializations. Because its programs serve those in religious formation rather than the general public, it does not offer nursery, kindergarten, elementary, junior high or senior high education.
