Colegio ng Lungsod ng Batangas
Colegio ng Lungsod ng Batangas (CLB) is a city government-run college in Poblacion, Batangas City, established in 2005 through Executive Order No. 26 under then-mayor Eduardo B. Dimacuha. It opened in school year 2006-2007 as Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Batangas with an initial class of 302 students, then was renamed Colegio ng Lungsod ng Batangas later that year under City Ordinance No. 15, s. 2006, per CHED's direction, and received its permit to operate on April 11, 2006. CLB offers college-level programs only; it has no kindergarten, elementary, or high school divisions. Programs include Bachelor of Elementary Education, Bachelor of Physical Education, Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education, BS Accountancy, BS Business Administration (majors in Marketing, Operations, Human Resource and Financial Management), and a Diploma in Technology and Livelihood Education. As a city-funded institution, CLB provides free college education to qualified residents. It is governed by a Board of Trustees created under City Ordinance No. 31, s. 2016.
