Colegio de la Inmaculada Concepcion (CIC) - Cebu is a Catholic school on Gorordo Avenue in Cebu City, founded on May 30, 1880 by the Hermanitas de la Madre de Dios, later incorporated with the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul in 1895. It opened with 66 girls and is recognized as the first Catholic school for girls in Cebu. CIC now offers a complete K-12 program from Pre-Elementary through Senior High School, plus a Night High School program added in 1980 for working students. Its basic education programs are PAASCU-accredited: the Upper Basic Education department since 1977, Lower Basic Education since 1982 (Level III since 2008), and integrated Basic Education (iBED) since 2014. The Vincentian-run school describes itself as a "Christ-centered Vincentian learning institution."
