Bohol Wisdom School

Bohol Wisdom School (BWS) is a private Filipino-Chinese school in Tagbilaran City, Bohol, founded in 1930 as a Chinese-Filipino elementary school. It was renamed Bohol Wisdom School in 1973 in compliance with the Filipinization of foreign schools policy, while retaining Chinese Language Arts in its curriculum. The school added a preschool department in 1982 and a high school department in 1987. In 2004, BWS began offering an undergraduate Teacher Education program, which received government recognition from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) in 2006. Today BWS is a K-12 school offering the ABM, HUMSS, and STEM strands under its Senior High School Academic Track, alongside its CHED-recognized college-level Teacher Education program. The school operates a student information portal for enrolled students and their families.
