We went there earlier today at AMA Santiago to ask if the diploma I had certified as a true copy (CTC) last 2024 is still valid for CAV processing at CHED. I was asking properly and respectfully, but the registrar responded in a rude manner. It was very obvious from her facial expression that she was irritated, though I don’t know the reason why. Despite that, I continued asking what steps we needed to take and what requirements were needed, but she kept answering in the same tone. I eventually asked her politely why she seemed upset, but instead of explaining, she said unrelated things and even walked out. I just hope she can be reminded to treat people who are inquiring with respect. It’s very discouraging and honestly felt disrespectful. Thankfully, there was another staff member who assisted us kindly and answered our questions properly. She even mentioned that she would talk to her colleague, as it was obvious that there was an attitude problem.
