Aemilianum College Inc.

Aemilianum College, Inc. is a private Catholic school in Barangay Piot, Sorsogon City, run by the Somascan Fathers (Congregation of the Clerics Regular of Somasca). The Somascans took over the former Sts. Peter and Paul Technical Institute, previously run by the Diocese of Sorsogon, during the 1985-86 school year, and renamed the school after Saint Jerome Emiliani, the order's founder and patron of orphans. Aemilianum offers elementary, junior high, senior high and college education, including Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology, Industrial Technology (Automotive), Office Administration, Electronics Communication Engineering, Elementary and Secondary Education, AB Communication, AB Political Science, a Master in Information Technology, and a College of Law offering the Bachelor of Laws. The school also operates AITV5 and campus radio station DWAM-FM, giving communication students hands-on broadcast experience. It withstood major damage from Typhoon Sisang in 1987 and has since grown into one of Sorsogon City's established private schools, with a dedicated law school building.
